An Ever-growing Family

The Youngest Rabbits' 1st Day Outside with their Older Relatives - April 2016

Feeding time .. showing 5 generations of rabbits all eating solid food and enjoying a varied diet of cabbage, cauliflower and potato leaves, carrot and potato peelings, lettuce and watermelons.
Most of these trimmings are generously supplied F.O.C. by our friends in the local market.

Commercially available sacks of  harvested peanut plants are also a favourite part of their diet.

In newly built cages for nursing mothers and outside in their recently decorated surroundings ..
these must be the happiest, healthiest and most spoilt rabbits in all of Africa !!

Another occasional treat is Lebanese bread ( showing white in the cages ) which is kindly donated by a local Lebanese restaurant.
