We headed for the valley between these mountain ranges ....

.... as the gravel track became ever more undulating. Not a problem for our transport.

Turning left again, some 12 kilometres after leaving the main road .. suddenly we had arrived ....

.... at the bottom of a valley, protected from the wind and swirling sand by the nearby cliff faces
was the pretty little village of Terjit .. and what a miraculous discovery it turned out to be !
